The files in this directory are used for the
ddnsUpd service instances, and should typically
be named [instance].conf, with ddnsUpd.conf
being the default (non-instanced(?)) version.

Since the configuration typically includes a
password (or API token), it is recommended
that the files be readable only by root.

Some/many providers require there to be an
already existing A and/or AAAA to update
(one is updating a record, not creating it).

API provider notes:

For the dyn API, the username and password
are your dyn credentials.

For the he API, the username is the hostname,
and the password would be the dynamic dns
token in the dns record.

For the cloudflare API the username is not
used (but must be specified for compatibility),
and the password should be the API token.
