{%- comment -%} The manual's table of contents, in three tiers: the letter on its own at the top, then each section from site.manual.sections with the chapters that name it in `section:`, in nav_order. A chapter can have pages of its own beneath it: a page under manual// that says `parent: ` in its front matter, with its own nav_order. They are listed indented under the chapter, open while the chapter or one of them is the page being read, and behind the chapter's chevron otherwise (the theme's own expander, which its script toggles). Replaces the theme's site_nav, so the theme's activation stylesheet (which guesses the active link from its own markup) is blanked in _includes/css/activation.scss.liquid and the active page is marked here. {%- endcomment -%} {%- assign manual_pages = site.html_pages | where_exp: "item", "item.url contains '/manual/'" | where_exp: "item", "item.title != nil" | where_exp: "item", "item.nav_exclude != true" -%} {%- assign letters = manual_pages | where_exp: "item", "item.section == nil" | sort: "nav_order" -%} {%- assign children_of = manual_pages | where_exp: "item", "item.parent != nil" -%}
