nvme-id-domain(1)
=================

NAME
----
nvme-id-domain - Send NVMe Identify Domain List, return result and structure

SYNOPSIS
--------
[verse]
'nvme' [<global-options>] 'id domain' <device>
			[--dom-id=<domain_id> | -d <domain_id>]

DESCRIPTION
-----------
For the NVMe device given, send an identify command and return the domain list
data structure.

The <device> parameter is mandatory and may be either the NVMe character
device (ex: /dev/nvme0), or a namespace block device (ex: /dev/nvme0n1).

The bare 'nvme id-domain' form (without a space) still works as a
deprecated alias and will be removed in a future major version. New
scripts should use 'nvme id domain' instead.

OPTIONS
-------
-d <domain_id>::
--dom-id=<domain_id>::
	Retrieve the identify domain list data structure for the given
	domain id. If this value is not given, domain id will be 0xffff.
