This is an experimental monophonic MIDI converter. The parameters are not stored on presets but are saved as preferences and are remembered each time you start the program.
The most important thing for better results is to tune your guitar. Connect the rakarrack MC OUT port with qjackctl, Alsa-Seq, or another connection utility, to a synthesizer or sequencer device in order to produce sound or record.
The Trigger parameter controls the volume of sound passed to the note recognition algorithm.
The Velocity is for adjusting the MIDI velocity sensitivity of the MIDI note message generated.
The Channel is the MIDI channel selected for sending the generated note MIDI message.
The Octave will adjust the MIDI note generated, up or down by the selected amount.
The FFT button will use a FFT algorithm that is much more CPU intensive but may provide better MIDI note generation results.
